Power your home with solar panels

It doesn't matter which direction your house is facing, energy prices are going north. Demand on the grid is increasing, whilst resources are diminishing. It’s time for a rethink about your energy needs. Capture the Sun's abundant power and convert it into electricity to meet your energy needs.

Solar PV systems are one of the most popular renewable energy technologies. All year round they provide a continuous supply of free sustainable electrical energy. Solar generated electricity will play a fundamental role in the future of your electrical energy consumption, and we can help you benefit from it.

Six steps towards a greener future

Our customer centric approach involves face to face consultations to understand your priorities and objectives. This understanding guides our recommendations, ensuring that your choice of solar system aligns seamlessly with your needs.

Once we have assessed the feasibility of installing a solar system on your premises and confirmed your interest, we schedule an appointment to carry out a comprehensive on-site survey. This survey allows us to compile a proposal and quotation tailored to your unique requirements.

1

Site Survey

Roof Assessment:

1. Evaluate the structural integrity of your roof.

2. Identify potential shading issues affecting the roof.

Electrical System Inspection:

1. Assess your current electrical system.

2. Determine any modifications required for seamless integration.

Inverter and Battery Placement:

Identify the optimal location for the inverter and battery system.

Energy Needs Evaluation:

Assess your energy requirements based on past electricity bills and future needs.

3

Installation day

Scaffolding will be assembled a few days prior to the scheduled installation. On the appointed installation date, our team will arrive at your house and have a brief conversation with you to confirm the installation details. The onsite work will be carried out by our experienced electricians and roofers, and may take 2 to 3 days to complete.

After commissioning your solar power system, we will show you how to navigate the settings on the inverter and monitor the operations using the dedicated mobile app.

5

Handover

We will send you a comprehensive handover pack including system design diagrams, product data sheets, warranties, MCS certificates, commission test results and maintenance procedures.

2

Design

Panel layout:

Determine the most suitable arrangement for the solar panels. Consider factors like sunlight exposure, shading, and available space

Electrical Wiring System:

Design the electrical wiring system for efficient connections between solar panels, inverters, and the main electrical panel.

Performance Analysis:

Analyse estimated monthly electricity generation, annual and overall savings, degree of energy independence, and system payback time.

4

Register Your System

We will register your system with your local Distribution Network Operator (DNO) for grid connection approval and regulatory compliance.

We will obtain MCS certificates for both solar PV and battery storage, so you can apply to your utility supplier for Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) to get paid for exported electricity.

6

Remote Monitoring & Tech Support

We will help you set up the monitoring App. And register your system to allow remote monitoring, where we can support you through future system upgrades and troubleshoot any technical issues.

It's time to capitalise on the government's 0% VAT

from 1st April 2022 until 31st March 2027 VAT on installing energy-saving materials (ESMs) in residential properties will be 0% in Great Britain.

This means their supply and installation are now subject to 0% VAT.

In February 24 the government announces that Batteries also qualify for 0% VAT in Great Britain

The 0% VAT savings is applied to parts and labour, significantly reducing the cost of your installation.

Key Benefits Of Installing Solar PV

Lower your carbon footprint

With a global shift towards sustainability and environmental responsibility, solar panels have emerged as a frontrunner in reducing carbon emissions. Solar power is a clean, renewable energy source that doesn’t produce harmful greenhouse gases. By opting for solar energy, you actively contribute to the reduction of carbon footprints and the mitigation of climate change, promoting a greener and healthier planet for future generations.

Lower your energy bills

One of the most appealing aspects of solar panel installation is the direct impact on your energy bills. Solar panels produce electricity during peak daylight hours, often in sync with high-demand periods. This means you can offset a significant portion of your electricity costs. Any surplus energy can be stored in a battery for evening use, or fed back into the grid, earning you money from your utility company.

Energy independence

Solar panels provide you with energy independence. You’re no longer solely reliant on external energy providers. This independence is especially valuable in regions prone to power outages, enabling you to maintain essential power during emergencies or grid failures. Furthermore, it contributes to a more stable and resilient energy supply for your home.

Increased Property Value

Solar-powered homes are in high demand, as they offer eco-friendly, cost-effective energy solutions. This growing interest can result in a higher property value if you decide to sell your home. Prospective buyers are often willing to pay a premium for homes with existing solar panel installations, recognizing the long-term economic and environmental benefits they offer.
